Pure action consists in living wholly in transcendence, a state that surpasses all others. This integration of the human being with the divine results from the encounter of two essences. Because the Creator is Pure Act, the moment man transforms himself into pure action, a perfect assimilation takes place, leading the person to that state of ecstasy that surges up when the two beings begin to live in the same dimension. Pure act makes us similar to the Divine Being because we then begin to experience the same life, allowing the eternal to invade our being and true knowledge to rule our existence. The fact is that any person can be good if he wishes.
Through contact with his own being, man immediately enters into harmony with the Divine Being because of his transcendentality - with no need of great knowledge or extraordinary love for humankind, both of which can genuinely exist only through such a relationship. It is not really the deliberate conduct of the human being that will lead him to the divine but rather his acquiescence to being in harmony with his own essence, which in itself is transcendence.
Contact with Pure Act occurs only through pure action, for what is bad can produce nothing good; it is only the latter that prevents all of the damage caused by the malevolent conduct that represents opposition to life. In other words, I am showing anything good derives only from some greater good, and that evil must have something good to destroy and denigrate because it does not exist in and of itself; it merely •subsists• like a lesion on what is perfect. Thus the urgent need for those who are more sane to understand this so that they can prevent the destruction of the human species.
