Truth is not the misery that flourishes in this world. Truth is neither neurosis, psychosis, or any physical disorder; nor is it hunger, poverty, discomfort, sadness or calamity. All of that is actually a privation of truth, for truth is only richness, sanity, abundance and magnificence; it is well-being, and complete happiness and satisfaction. Truth is everything that exists: the land, the waters, the seas, the animals and plants, the human being with his intelligence, feeling, capacity and all of his achievements. It is precisely the latter – man´s capacity to achieve – that makes us more like the Creator; and we could develop our planet and achieve a true paradise rapidly if we did not systematically destroy the planet out of envy.
The human being is meant to accept the reality for which he was created, a reality which is deeply engraved on his nature, impelling him toward realization of it; that is, impelling him to implant truth, beauty and goodness in the entire universe. We are already essentially perfection; there is no need for evolution, only acceptance, so that we do not destroy more than we already have of our humanity. Of all the things in the universe, man is the apogee, even though he has not taken advantage of this as he could have.
We choose a view of life that is the size of our own vision – extremely limited, really almost nil. To know what life is, we must look at it through the eyes of God; then surely we will be overcome with admiration, speechless with awe.
The human being who is withdrawn from truth is totally mediocre, totally limited; but the human being who is united to truth is magnificent and can elevate himself to infinity and remain there eternally. We were not created for insignificance, but for all the greatness that exists.
Truth, love and goodness are so omnipotent that no person, no will, can diminish them by even one centimeter. However, each of us can intensify their brilliance if we resolve to repose in their embrace and make them the basis of all we do. Undoubtedly this will give rise to wonders that are greater than we can imagine.
